Abu Dhabi Helix Hotel

Recently the design plans of 5-star Helix Hotel at Abu Dhabi's Zayed Bay have been released. Leeser Architects are behind this impressive structure which will have a spiraling floor plate and also a glass-bottom swimming pool suspended high in the air. Leeser is also working with Atelier Ten on sustainable features like an interior-cooling waterfall and GROW (a new approach to solar and wind power) cladding on the outside surface.
The Helix is part of the new waterfront development in Abu Dhabi and is located near the Zaha Hadid's Sheikh Zayed Bridge (last picture).
